My name is David Foster and I'm an Outback Photographer travelling outback tracks to photograph the Australian landscape.
Welcome to my Australian Landscape Photography galleries. Australia is a great country with lots of spectacular and varied scenery. I love being out in the big wide world of Oz. There is something magical watching the change in the light as night turns to day. Over the past few years, I have travelled nearly 200,000 kilometres along the outback tracks and highways taking photographs. Where are my favourite places? It's hard to say, but Tasmania, Karijini National Park in Western Australia's Pilbara, and the deserts of the Red Centre of the Northern Territory and northern South Australia would have to be near the top of the list. But then, I think the beautiful palm-fringed beaches of Far North Queensland are pretty special as well!
There are still many more places to visit and many more photographs to be taken. Come on a journey through Australia with me by visiting my photo galleries.
(My good friend and sometime travelling companion Paul Allen has some truly spectacular panoramic photographs in his gallery near Lake Macquarie on the New South Wales Central Coast. Have a look at his website at http://www.paulallen.com.au .)
