Eucla Telegraph Station

Eucla Telegraph Station

Sand from the Delisser Sanddunes filling the ruins of the house at Eucla Telegraph Station, Nullarbor, Western Australia. A rabbit plague in the 1890's destroyed the vegetation on the dunes and led to their destabilisation. The encroaching sand resulted in the abandonment of the original settlement.
